Most people think that for an exercise to be effective, one must engage in vigorous and lengthy workouts routines. Little do they know that quick workouts can be effective as long as they are vigorous, and help us keep fit

This misconception could indeed discourage a lot of ladies to engage in any exercise. Of course, we are busy ladies with different careers and businesses to pursue and of course, a family to attend to.

And because we understand your busy schedule, we’ve decided to prepare this 2 minutes, 2 daily thigh workout to start your day.

Why you need to strengthen your thighs and keep fit:

The benefits of having strong thighs can be enormous. As women, strong thighs can help us not only in keeping fit but also through the undermentioned.

Having strong thighs can actually fine tone your butt. Oh yes! But come to think of it, who wouldn’t want to have a butt that could actually get you admiration plus you get to finally wear that sexy clothe to get the attention of your partner or crush. Thigh workouts help you develop muscle mass that gives you a better and nicer butt.

Strong thighs increases your stamina. Stamina is needed for standing for long hours and also walking in high heels. Without stamina, standing on heels could actually be a nightmare for one. Not to talk of walking in them. What you’ll experience will be wobbly legs that you’re afraid might give way at anytime.

Strong thighs means more muscles and more muscles, means an increase in the rate of metabolism. Higher metabolism ensures rapid fat burn. With more thigh workouts routine, you’re assured of a lean body that is brought about by lean muscles mass.

  1. Side squats: Squats had always been considered a girl’s affair as they focus on your legs and butt.

Instructions; Assume a straight up position with your legs widely apart. Your arms should be at your sides.

Take a step to the left side, and in an effortless or gentle manner, sit into a squat position. Your hands should be raised in a comfortable position. You don’t want to put it under unnecessary discomfort. The best way to achieve this is to have it positioned in front of you. Be mindful not to move your left foot.

Stand back on your feet paying attention to remain in the center. Next, do the same for the right side. One thing you should consider is that your starting position does not matter. What matters is this, if you begin from the left side, then you should change to your right and vice versa.

Do this for one minute to complete a round.

2. Single-leg bridge: This is an important workout routine. This thigh-toning workout helps in strengthening your core, glutes and hamstrings. For an effect, you should squeeze your cheeks when you get to the top. This will serve to give you more concentration to form a mind-body connection.

For this workout, you’ll need a mat and a towel to use for each foot. Lie on your mat with your face up. Have both knees bent apart and your feet flat on the floor and pay attention that your palms are facing down at your sides. Raise your left leg away from the ground and have it straightened in front of you. Ensure your right leg remains bent.

Gently let your pelvis leave the ground in a raised position and then squeeze it when you feel stiffness.

Gently and slowly return it back to the floor.

Do this for 30 seconds and then do the same with the other feet from the remaining 30 seconds.
